This essie Nail polish is one of my favorites. I love the color and how easy it is to apply! However just like any other nail polish you use frequently it can dry up after time. The more air it's exposed to, the dryer and harder to apply it will become.
I of course will not throw this lovely away just because it's a little old. It's been so kind to me! Sooo, I decided to stick with it and revive it to its old fabulous self. I'm sure you have an old favorite laying around to try this tip on.
You will need:
•Old nail polish
•Nail polish thinner or nail polish remover
•Small container you won't be using for food (not plastic)
First, take out the nail polish brush and put in the small container with nail polish remover. Remove all nail polish and clean well. Dry it with a paper towel and put back in the nail polish bottle. The nail polish residue left on the brush might enough to thin out the thick nail polish.
What if it's not you ask?
Just put a few drops of the nail polish thinner or nail polish remover in your nail polish bottle, cover, shake well and done! Be mindful to apply only about 2 drops at a time. You can always put more if needed but if you put too much you could ruin your nail polish and that'd be a waste. We don't want that! Right?
And just like that my darling you have your favorite nail polish back in stock!
Really hope you enjoyed this quick tip!
